Chantelle enhances efficiency and comfort thanks to PowerFlex roller conveyor

Chantelle has taken a major step toward improving ergonomics by implementing the PowerFlex roller conveyor, which unfolds directly inside the container to mechanize the unloading process. Operators place parcels on the steel rollers, which are sorted onto pallets at the end of the line before being stored. The mobile PowerFlex system is used across two unloading locations in the warehouse, depending on the incoming goods flow. Thanks to the installation of this flexible roller conveyor, operators experience less fatigue and greater working comfort.

"When received, a container holds around 800 individual parcels. After about a hundred trips back and forth between the container and the receiving dock, our operators become fatigued. By using UVOTec's motorized PowerFlex roller conveyor, we’ve significantly reduced the strain caused by these repetitive movements. The feedback from our teams has been very positive," says Léa Lechevallier, head of the Darjeeling logistics warehouse, a Chantelle Group brand.
